SOUTH-WEST BRISBANE & WEST LOGAN RUGBY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
OPEN BOYS RUGBY 7'S
11th OCTOBER 2010

Sunnybank Community & Sports Club Inc. and Fuji Xerox have generously established a development fund to support the growth in participation of Rugby Union in the South-West Brisbane & West Logan region. This fund is managed through Sunnybank Rugby with programs implemented by the employed development staff in conjunction with a consultation group of community members.

Overview

• The carnival day will be held Monday 11th October 2010
• It is an U18 carnival aimed at Yr 11 & Yr 12 students
• Rugby 7's with 12 nominated players in each squad
• Coaching assistance will be available to schools prior to the carnival upon request
• The event will run from 9:30am to 2:30pm

Schools are provided with

• Ambassadors who will come to schools to help coach students
• Financial assistance with bus transport to and from the venue if needed
• A drink bottle for every player and a water re-fill station at each venue
• Lunch for students and staff (sausage sizzle & a drink).  Those with special dietary needs will have to cater for themselves
• Referees and all ground staff including medical assistance
