Sunnybank Rugby named an Outdoor Training Venue for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027

Sunnybank Rugby has been selected as an Outdoor Training Venue for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027.

Our venue will support participating teams by providing a training environment as they prepare for their matches during the tournament.

We’re proud to play a part in this international event and look forward to welcoming teams to Sunnybank in 2027.

Biggs Field Floodlights Upgraded Thanks to Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grant

We’re proud to share a major milestone for Sunnybank Junior Rugby Club with the successful upgrade of floodlights on Biggs Field 1.

Thanks to $100,000 in funding from Brisbane City Council’s Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grants (Facilities category), our floodlights have been upgraded to LED, achieving a 245 LUX level — providing broadcast-quality lighting suitable for semi-professional competitions.
